From October 29 to 30, Zhang Shirong, General Manager CECEP, visited Song County in Luoyang, Henan Province, to review the Group's paired assistance efforts. He held discussions with Xin Junfeng, Party Secretary of the Song County Committee, and Ren Qingpeng, County Mayor. The two sides exchanged views on deepening regular assistance and advancing all-around rural revitalization.

During the meeting, Xin Junfeng expressed gratitude to CECEP for its longstanding support for Song County's development and its dedicated efforts to advance rural revitalization. Ren Qingpeng gave a detailed overview of the county's recent economic and social development and its future plans. Zhang Shirong said that CECEP would thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on work related to agriculture, rural areas and rural residents, and act on the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on implementing the rural revitalization strategy. The Group would ensure that regular assistance requirements were fully and effectively implemented, with greater support in three key areas: industry, talent and people's livelihoods.

During the visit, Zhang Shirong inspected the Funiu Mountain Medicinal Materials Trading Center at Zhongyuan Pharmaceutical Valley and the Mining Cube Industrial Park at Zhongyuan Mining Valley. He also reviewed the implementation of assistance projects, including the Energy-Efficient Town, a photovoltaic carport, Wanghu Tower, Cape Bay and Shiling Forest Camp, as well as the operational performance of CECWPC's 100 MW project in Song County. He held in-depth discussions with officials on temporary assignment and resident village officials. In Shichang Village, Jiugao Town, which receives paired assistance from the Group, he visited households that had been lifted out of poverty, extended his regards to them and learned in detail about the implementation of assistance policies and their livelihoods and production activities.
Relevant leaders and department heads from the Song County Party Committee and county government attended the meeting. Representatives from the Group's General Office, Party and Public Affairs Department, General Water of China and CECWPC participated in the visit.
