On November 21, CECEP and the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai. Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, and Cai Jianchun, General Manager of SSE, jointly witnessed the signing and held a working meeting. Hu Naimin and Cao Huabin, CECEP Deputy General Managers, as well as Wang Bo, SSE Deputy General Manager, also attended the event.

Liao Jiasheng expressed sincere gratitude to SSE for its warm reception and longstanding support, and provided an overview of CECEP. He noted that as a central enterprise specializing in energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP has always regarded the implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization as its mission, continuously growing through deep engagement in the sector. In the face of new missions and opportunities brought by the nation’s comprehensive green transition, he expressed hope that the signing would serve as a new starting point for deeper cooperation in areas such as asset securitization, refinancing of listed companies, green finance, dual-carbon and ESG services. He emphasized the importance of jointly advancing the energy conservation and environmental protection industry and fostering the healthy development of the green capital market, contributing new momentum to the building of a Beautiful China.
Cai Jianchun extended a warm welcome to Liao and his delegation, commended the strong cooperation between both sides, and shared recent developments at SSE. He stated that as one of the world’s leading comprehensive stock exchanges, SSE is committed to serving the real economy and promoting green development, with close attention to the energy conservation and environmental protection sectors. He reaffirmed SSE’s high regard for its strategic partnership with CECEP and looked forward to taking the agreement as a new starting point to strengthen cooperation in areas including expectation management for listed companies, medium- and long-term bond issuance, asset-backed securities, and green financial innovation. He also expressed the hope of establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism to build a model partnership and achieve mutual benefits.
Heads of the SSE General Office, Market Development Department, Listed Company Management Department, Bond Market Center, Product Innovation Department and China Securities Index attended the event. Zhao Youmin, Secretary of the Board at CECEP and Director of the Cooperation Department, along with leaders from the Strategy Department, Financial Management Department and CECEP Wind-power, also participated.
